Back in Galapagos to prepare some work and sitting in a not to bad place for a dinner meeting with my friend Mauricio.

Kiara is waiting for mom to come to the hospital so she can go home. She got here on Sunday morning as she had an allergic reaction to something and has been bored ever since. My back also starts to hurt after sleeping in a crapy bed for 2 nights.

A day with some fun

Lucas started to practice soccer a while ago with the team "Liga"

Kiaras birthday party

For Kiaras birthday we arranged a small party for the kids at the daycare center. As usual kids get painted in the faces

Dana also got painted by one of the teachers

Kiara couldnt stay away from the cake so some of the text went missing right away

As is the tradition in Ecuador the birthday kid gets to dip the nose in the cake or as Kiara choose, take a big bite

 

Pinata is something that all child birthday parties has but instead of the kids smashing it with a stick to then pick whatever they can it is common to hand it out in an more just way to avoid crying kids. 

Back home Kiara got to open a couple of presents that she got.
