Fish in a bowl

Kiara had as homework to get a fish and take care of it. I bought an aquarium a while ago and my friend Leonardo still has the fishes but we are missing a furniture to put everything.

Gladly Kiaras classmate Vicky could lend us her fish for an hour to take the pictures that the teacher asked for in homework.

Lucas also wanted to see the fish and feed it.

And Dana too of course.

Lucas "Michael Jackson" in Thriller

Lucas had been looking at Michael Jackson videos for some time to practice for this day. Lucas is in the top left corner.

Lucas normally dont like to be on stage and have people look at him, guess this comes from me.

Back home Lucas gave me his best zombie face.

Not bad.

Convincing?!

Playzone birthday party

Lucas classmate had a birthday party at the play zone in CCI shopping center and after the cake etc the kids enjoyed the games for an hour.

Kiara and Dana having fun in the adrenaline machines.

Lucas loves anything that has a screen so this is the best place for him. Too bad they don't have coffee here so I can sit down while the kids run their legs off.....

Dana trying the motorcycle game for the first time. She refused me to help her and got pissed off when I tryed.

Best still as a grownup is the electrical bumper cars and to try to take pictures was a new experience that I enjoyed.

Kiara in control as usual.

Wonder if Kaira got the crashing from mom or dad?

They had a lot of fun bumping into everybody.

Kiara enjoying some motorcycles as well.

Kiara school performance

A group of students from Kairas school were invited to do some theme dancing at a school in the fare north of Quito and Kiara were to be Minni Mouse.

Together with a couple of classmates.

Doing her thing. The band played the song for different cartoon characters while Kiara and her school friends "danced". For Kiara it was over in 2 minutes but she seemed to have fun.

The teacher and Kiaras group waiting for their turn.

The whole group from Kiaras school.

Visit to Faviola in Mindo

One of the reasons I love Mindo is that there are a lot of birds around here

Laura with Kiara and Dana preparing breakfast at Faviolas place where we stayed over night.

Dana is taking care of her baby.

Mindo house

As we spent the weekend in Mindo we took Kiara and Dana to see the house that we are building. They haven't really seen to much of it and Kiara thought that it was bad since it doesn't have any floor.

Who is helping who?

I hope that we soon can start fixing the stairs to the house and the platform outside as we get started with the drenation system.

Galapagos trip

April 7th I went with a group of Swedish tourists to the Galapagos Island and it was still very hot for being even in April with about 38-38 degrees C and no rain for over 1,5 months.

Finally came back to Los Tuneles that is one of the most amazing places in the Galapagos to me and I had to do a jump on my friend Fabricio's command.

At the Wall of Tears a couple of Tortoises were trying to escape the heat and sun

A Stratted Heron among the Red Mangrove branches

Another way to get away from the heat is to get dirty

Fabricio guiding the group down a lava tunnel while trying to scare the group...

This tunnel at El Chato Dos has two levels that is really nice to see

Male Frigate Bird all blown up and nice for the ladies on North Seymour Island

Female Frigate Bird taking care of the chicks on North Seymour Island

Blue-footed Boobies playing and dancing for each other, North Seymour Island

Young Frigate Bird resting, North Seymour Island

Frigate Brid chick waiting for mommy to come with food

Land Iguana, North Seymour Island

If you think that breastfeeding can be hard......

Swallow-tailed Gull, North Seymour Island

Sea lions on Playa Bachas, Santa Cruz Island

My friend and guide Fabricio with a Galapagos Hawk on Bartolome Island

Me and the gang on Bartolome Island

Galapagos Hawk, Bartolome Island

On the way to Bartolome Island I talked to Fabricio about that I hadn't seen a Galapagos Hawk on the Island for a long time and when we got there we had no less than four of them flying around looking for food and they couldn't care less about us two-footers.

So amazing to have an animal like this flying just over your head looking at you like you dont matter.....
