April 7th I went with a group of Swedish tourists to the Galapagos Island and it was still very hot for being even in April with about 38-38 degrees C and no rain for over 1,5 months.
Finally came back to Los Tuneles that is one of the most amazing places in the Galapagos to me and I had to do a jump on my friend Fabricio's command.
At the Wall of Tears a couple of Tortoises were trying to escape the heat and sun
A Stratted Heron among the Red Mangrove branches
Another way to get away from the heat is to get dirty
Fabricio guiding the group down a lava tunnel while trying to scare the group...
This tunnel at El Chato Dos has two levels that is really nice to see
Male Frigate Bird all blown up and nice for the ladies on North Seymour Island
Female Frigate Bird taking care of the chicks on North Seymour Island
Blue-footed Boobies playing and dancing for each other, North Seymour Island
Young Frigate Bird resting, North Seymour Island
Frigate Brid chick waiting for mommy to come with food
Land Iguana, North Seymour Island
If you think that breastfeeding can be hard......
Swallow-tailed Gull, North Seymour Island
Sea lions on Playa Bachas, Santa Cruz Island
My friend and guide Fabricio with a Galapagos Hawk on Bartolome Island
Me and the gang on Bartolome Island
Galapagos Hawk, Bartolome Island
On the way to Bartolome Island I talked to Fabricio about that I hadn't seen a Galapagos Hawk on the Island for a long time and when we got there we had no less than four of them flying around looking for food and they couldn't care less about us two-footers.
So amazing to have an animal like this flying just over your head looking at you like you dont matter.....
