Visit to Mojanda lagoons and the equator monument

The Paramos in Ecuador are beautiful. Here we are close to the Mojanda lagoon on a bit more that 3000 meters

Looks like it is handmade as a heart but I cant be sure though a dog apparently didnt like it to much

In the afternoon we headed back to Quito where we passed by the equator monument to see who could balance an egg on a nail and become the egg-master. 

Traveling with a group of Swedish people

The previous day I met up with a group from Sweden to be their group leader. On the way to Otavalo and Cotacachi we made a stop to try some Bizcotchos, a kind of bread that these boys are preparing.

At the viewpoint over the San Pablo lagoon a couple of boys were resting with their Lamas and of course helpful to let you take a picture with them for a coin or two.

I guess this was not the idea with the wooden figure but I thought that this was a better way than the usual stick your head through......

Lucas dance performance at school

It is hard but sometimes I manage to get a picture of Lucas without a funny face

Everybody are ready and starts to walk to the area where the rest of the school is waiting for them

Funny to see the kids dancing in their uniforms that are supposed to be Greek?? Not too sure about that actually but it looked good.

The dance at least made me think of Greece a bit.

They did a good job ad the crowd went total bananas...... ;-)
